PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY OF POTATOES UNDER DIFFERENT POTASSIUM FERTILIZER SOURCES

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate potassium and chloride accumulation in, the yield quality potato tubers Asterix cultivar, under application two fertilizer sources (KCl K2SO4.2MgSO4) their combinations. experimental design a randomized complete block with five treatments four replications in factorial scheme subdivided plot. presence greater than 61.8% recommended dose fertilization affects plant growth, less dry matter aerial part. This does not occur because lower nutrient translocation tubers. K varies between levels depending on companion ions sources. Throughout cycle, amount increased parts an increase percentage KCl. total productivity is affected by use combination different proportions, maximum 41.3 t ha-1 64.5% KCl 36.5% K2SO4.2MgSO4. Soluble solids did vary at 180 kg K2O.
